@Thepast2012 You know that this song is based on the war experience of a marine who was send to Vietnam, right? Because I think it would be a very useful experience to read the same called book he wrote and the film based on it. Hopefully it will make you less short-minded.

@Thepast2012 You are quite the caveman Thepast2012. Why don't you read a little bit and come out of the Dark Ages already. This is a fabulous song based on the reality of those who served in combat there.

@sweetjanne1 very nice, lyrically good, moving, maybe alittle quirky but all the same , pretty good song

Thanks a lot for uploading this,I have it with the young man here,he preform it so well..But nice to get the original. And yes its so relevant, its completely the same today.Wish more people would wake up and understand who rules this word, they dont care about young soldiers, nor civiliens. Its all about interests in oil, money, power,in the end it destroy us all..and how can they just close their eyes to whats happening in(whats left of)Palestine..Just one exampel. Its a shame!
@Thepast2012 ok so the Vietnam war was necessary was it? ye the whole idea is that we shouldn't play with guns and grenades, funny how you just commented on 'Last Thing On My Mind' saying how good he was.
There is a difference btw between anti war liberalism and left wing communists.

Were this great song played at the joining line would those poor young boys still enlist and believe on that tv crap told to them by Military Ads? Once Thomas Paine wrote that America should gree itself from England because they made only war Guess what? Amaerica has never been so british as on the last decade!
