  • Hello, i have a joomla website with paypal gateway. so normally how it does was when someone clicks on "Buy Now" button it takes to paypal payment page where the user will buy using paypal account. but instead i want the same steps but it should also show credit card form so the user does not have to enter their paypal account., so once i change my account from Payment Standard to Payment Pro will this happen?

  • @allensebastian Hello, Yes, with PayPal Website Payments Pro option, the user can enter the credit card information on form itself instead of being redirected to PayPal website.

  • @OnlineForms seems that with Standard Payment also the user can make payments with Credit card but the user has to click "Dont have a paypal account" and then the credit card options will appear. instead of that by default when the user visits the page this form must appear. how can i set this? thank you

  • @allensebastian Like you mentioned, When the user is redirected to PayPal, they can choose "Don't have PayPal" and can pay using Credit Card. There is not a way to change this. Payments Pro is the alternative where you can collect payments on the form itself.

  • @OnlineForms so then i have to go to my accoutns, and change my account from standard to Pro right? as my joomla site has some plugins which has buy now buttons and they redirect it to the payment page does that affect after i change my account? and still those plugin redirects will show the new form? thanks for the previous comments

  • @allensebastian It needs to be processed by PayPal and for more information on PayPal Pro, please go to Website Payments Pro on PayPal website. You can confirm with PayPal by writing to their Support regarding the other question with Joomla.
