  • i have the same motherboard. its great.

  • @zadeh79

Thanks, i bought this motherboard too ! It looks really decent.I had to choose between the Asrock X58 Extreme, Gigabyte X58 UD3R and Foxconn Flaming Blade GTI.Though, adter reading some reviews i've got Asus, it's my 4th of even 5th asus motherboard, never had problems with them (as i had with Gigabyte ep35ds3 and x48ds4).3x1GB 1333MHz corsair memory should arrive today, now i just need to find a used i7 920 that i can pick up.I had luck that p6t se supports LGA775 coolers !

  • @czolgista999 I have spent a good deal of time researching, and comparing this board to other boards (even boards that cost $50-$100 more). It is one of the best boards (granted you don't care about the lack of some features - SLI, i9 support) It is a good overclocker. In a matter of seconds, via the bios, you can take a 920 CPU (stock 2.67GHZ), all the way, to 3.84GHZ.......completely stable, with any aftermarket CPU fan.

  • I just received mine from UPS, and in some really poor packing, I should add. Hopefully it is ok. I've done enough research to know, that this is a really good board. I have seen a few benchmark reviews, that place it near the top, compared to boards, $100 more. When AA is turned on (X2 or more), this board blasts to the top of benchmark tests. If you don't care about SLI, this motherboard (or the P6T deluxe variant) is the board to get.

  • @ApostleCreed10 ah that sucks I really wanted this with an i5

  • Hey, how is the motherboad working now ? Does it overclocks well ?
