I am agreeing with you. Basically a bunch of astrophysicists and astronomers came up with a calculation to determine how many planets in the known universe should support life based on evolutionary factors as we know them and they came out with a number in the hundreds of thousands. It is not only arrogant but extremely naive to think we are the only advanced life in the universe. Perhaps they choose not to communicate because of the ignorant and fearful among us or we are to primitive? :)

Flattening down of plants- Internodes of plants either snap or bend, in which case there is observable strain in the stem of the plant. Those of these which are not "hoaxes" are not bent nor strained. They have meristem growth on one side of the plant which is just plain... unexplainable. Although I've never personally seen it or had the chance to put it under a scope, I'd be interested to see what the hormone levels are like in the "bent" plants.

yea but what do odds like that mean in an infinite universe? i mean to 1 in a billion chances with unlimited tries means there has to be crap tons more life like ours. then you could imagine that there could be other forms of life who's needs are different to ours. i'm sorry if you were saying that aliens exist and i just annoyed you. peace and love!
