Stockton's Game Winner Sends Jazz to Finals; Game 6, 1997, Western Conference Finals
After 11 consecutive years of playoff exits, the NBA's foremost duo, John Stockton and Karl Malone finally get their chance to play for the Larry O'Brien Trophy. Stockton scores 15 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter, including a three-pointer off (what else?) a Malone screen as time expires, to give the Jazz a 103-100 victory over the Houston Rockets and send the Jazz on their first ever trip to the NBA Finals.

  • STOCKTON has the MOST ASSISTS in the NBA.

Can't you people stop bitching and whining about which TEAM is better and say "I don't like the jazz but stockton and malone were very exceptional NBA players"

Just so normal people in society don't think your weird for making such a big deal out of something that happened more than a decade ago?

  • John Stockton is one of the greatest basketball players of all time..he would be a top ten lock if he had at least one ring...the numbers dont lie here...He was a tremendous scorer on top of what he did in the steals and assist department...he is a true legend...I would have to say one of the most underappreciated in NBA history..he gets alot of respect from me..He is the original Steve Nash and he has two MVP awards...John Stockton would win three in todays league.

  • @MrSlik25 Steve Nash has those MVPs because of his efficiency, and because he played in an era with fewer AMAZING players. It's tough to give Stockton an MVP over the likes of Jordan, Robinson, Malone, Barkley, etc.

Steve Nash has had FOUR 50-40-90 seasons (50% FG, 40% 3P FG, 90% FT), more than anyone in NBA history (only Bird, Price, Reggie, and Dirk did it). He's the most efficient shooter the NBA has ever seen, which he has over Stockton, although Stockton has the edge in steals/assists.

  • THEY ALMOST BEAT THE BULLS IN THEIR PRIME!!!

  • @buskama The greatest shot in Utah Jazz History.

  • @bubbz415 You jackass, basketball is not about race its about playing and loving the game. I hate people like you, you tear the soul of the game by this unnecessary and stupid remark. If you ever start playing the game and start loving it then you will understand.

  • @bubbz415 answer: Kevin Love

  • @bubbz415 Who gives a shit about skin color? He's a great player and that's all that matters.

  • @MultiManafest LOL Steve Nash is Canadian and Dirk Nowitski is German
