  • One of his BEST songs ever!!! Those 'dislikes' must be drinkin the wrong whiskey!

  • Well EFFEN Awright! Good sh*t!

  • I never tire of listening to Waylons songs, or watching these live performances, he was truly legendary, and a great man, and his music will live on long after I am gone, unlike many of these new and forgettable country artists who can only dream of having the kind of influence Waylon had.

  • @Waylonnumbr1fan You know Waylon s friend Buddy Holly fought for control of HIS music too. Waylon learned a great deal from the Master. I am a huge Buddy Holly AND Waylon Jennings fan.

  • @hounf6 Did you know Waylon met the Big Boppers son years latter and his son asked Waylon to tell him about his daddy/ This was told by Waylon in a Buddy Holly documentry that Paul McCartney did. The Big Bopper s son was born 3 months after the plane crash . .

  • @1JamRee Waylon gave up his seat to the Big Bopper . The plan was for Buddy, Waylon and one other guy to get on the plane, Buddy paied for it. The Big Bopper was sick and asked Waylon if he could take his seat and Waylon agreed. Richie Valens and the other guy flipped a coin and the rest is Rock N Roll history. Waylon had surriver s guilt for many years

  • @bounddrummer

    Right on!

  • loved Waylon for 40 years...before country was cool, as they say. It was destiny that he gave up his seat on that plane to Buddy Holly. Loved them both, but it was Buddy's time and now Waylon lives on. His music makes a lot of people happy. He just has that original "country" sound--doesn't sound like the "polished country pop" of today's so-called "country" singers (who all sound almost alike, btw). I love Waylon, Willie and the Boys.

  • This is a man who didn't go with the status quo or the norm or what the record labels expected in Nashville this man was a true outlaw for doing 'his' music 'his' way and for that I look to him as the greatest artist of all time. God bless you Waylon Jennings r.i.p.

  • i really like this song and the lyrics!!! also the picking at the end is super fly!!!
