Playing CS with a 360 controller

Hey guys. So i was bored so i decided to hook up my 360 controller to my computer. You can play most games with it using xpadder. However you'll need a Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows. Basically its a regular controller but it comes with a wireless adapter for your computer. If you need a tutorial on how to get this to work just leave a comment

Most FPS games on a console have auto-aim that is a FACT. It is far EASIER to react precisely and fast with a mouse than it is with any controller...

Only a console only gamer would say a controller is easier to aim and more precisely than a mouse.

ALL console games have atleast ONE of these (THIS INCLUDES MULTIPLAYER):

- Aim-assist

- Low to no-recoil

- More damage for weapon than their counterpart on computer

- Few height variations on the maps.

- Slower gameplay than on PC (UT3 is a VERY good example).

So you say that you are better at calculating time than distance? A controller is time-based, alone THAT makes it far more inaccurate and slow in the hands of humans.

You are an uninformed console gamer...

@CarlosSpicyWeiner7 Unfortunately that's what made fanboys think pc sucks. I have PC, X360 , and a PS3, all in all, pcs cost quite a bit but costs less to upgrade

@MrDeath544 the funny thing is most console gamers spend money on a computer as well. they get some shitty laptop at some big box store for around the same amount of money it would cost them to build an AMAZING gaming pc and then buy a console on top of that. seeing as you can do way more stuff on a pc other than just game are you really saving that much money?

@FlameFurious i give you halo 1, huge recoil the exact same settings on pc for damage no aim assist the same slow halo based skilful game play, and as much as i agree pc controls are better, its easier to adapt to a controller, being able to adapt to things quickly is why mammals are alive today yet dinosaurs are not, i got 18 seconds after a week on the fng mission on cod 4 for pc, i got 15 after having the game since the beginning of this year just a month ago on xbox

@Texnux Ofc its easier to aim on PC, but i think sometimes its more fun playing FPS on console because all players use controllers, on most occasions u wont have to battle players who will one shot one every time u see them, it makes it more realistic. I prefer to play BF on Consoles then pc, when CS on the other hand is all about instant kill so u want to play it on pc, its a win/win situation..

@FlameFurious PC elitist, much? However right this is, consoles are far less cheaper to buy than a damn gaming computer for this generation in gaming. I spent over 1 grand building mine, and only 600 for a PS3.

I play crysis 2 on the pc with an xbox 360 controller. for me it's better because i've been playing on an xbox since halo 1 came out and on xbox live since halo 2 did. Im just really good and comfortable with a controller. Put a mouse in my hands, you might as well have given me pillows. I am just another noob with a mouse, with a controller now we're talking.
