Captain Rolando Silva, Sergeant Enrique Ponce, Deputy Pierre Rozeau and Deputy Patrick Desir of the District #14 office of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Community Policing Unit traveled to Haiti for a second time this past November 2010 to bring much needed relief. Two police cars, bullet proof vests, tear gas masks and other life saving law enforcement equipment as well as medical supplies and equipment and most importantly food distributed in several of the tent cities. This project was realized thanks to so many who saw the importance of the success of the Kenbe Fèm mission.

  • I was honored with the opportunity to work on this project. I live and operate my business in the City of Lake Worth, where we have the privilege of having these Deputies serve and protect our community. They not only have made great strides in drastic double digit percentage reductions in crime in our city they also realized a way to serve the Haitian community, not just in Lake Worth but in Haiti as well.
