Starting a white worm culture or grindal worm culture from the very beginning. Step by step video showing how to prepare a container with media for maximum production of white worms or grindal worms.
@RebelThunder Miracle gro will work very nicely. I have used it for grindal worms, white worms and earthworms. I sometimes pick out the fertilizer BB sized piece, but I don't make any effort to get them. David
@Asianleful You have to get a starter culture from someone else. Try local fish clubs or someone that keeps a lot of killifish. If there is an importer/exporter near you they may be able to get you a beginning culture.
@gyaros You want particle size from 1/16" to 1/2" like would be in a good potting soil. Do not want dust size particles, the worms need to be able to move around in the mix. Humus type compost should work fine.
Thanks for this video. I have a question though. For the dirt can I use the miracle-gro potting mix? thanks
