Nice! Great results and great insight. Cheers for the post :)

you are sick on Beauty retouch mate, in photoshop overall :P Love your tutorials, looking everyday for new ones ;) Thank you!

Cool vid.

why not use portrait pro 10

I like the photo mate, but hate the editing style, blurring the skin is such unprofessional way to retouch. Really for a professional looking retouch you have 3 options, 1. pixel by pixel healing and clone stamp with a brush size 1-10. 2. dodge and burn technique (google it) 3. Imaginomic Portraiture plugin (its really good and looks professional)

Just wondering how long did the editing phase take?

Perhaps I am a bit picky, but I was very irritated by the wrinkles around her nose. They would have been okay if the rest of the image wasn't so doll-like. But they seemed very out of place since the rest of the wrinkles had been diminished.

@hlub2000 Whereas it's great to know that you looked in, it's not so good to get responses like this especially when if you'd take the time to look through my other 43 videos you would see that each and every one of the techniques in this video are covered in 'real time'.
Next time if something 'free' annoys you that much may I suggest you go elsewhere and take your language with you; neither I or the other folks that do appreciate this stuff being posted for 'free' don't want to have to read it

Hi Shaun, thanks for looking in.
With regards the reflector, for this shoot I wanted it as high up and as close as I could to the models face (just out of camera view). This way I'm going to get the maximum amount of light I can to bounce back up to fill the shadows under the models chin etc... (Roughly half the light coming from the overhead flash head bounces back up from the reflector).
Cheers, Glyn
