  • Good video.

When I started in this heli, I just couldn’t explain why motor shaft prematurely breaking after a while, and no retailer was able to provide help. If I only had watched this video, would have helped me to save some bucks, replacing good motors accompanied with stripped out main gear.

  • @heyya1961 I am happy that it has helped you, not many people know how to adjust etc, this is why my video's a quite lengthy to cater for all types of people and the problems they might face, something that may seem obvious to many is not obvious to others and visa versa, I learn things about these heli's every day, I read, ask questions and try things out, I guess my engineering background helps me a little but I can say with all honesty that I dont know it all by far...

  • nice motor

  • @420choky Yeah it's an extreme beast for a 450 heli, very short flight times maybe 3 - 3.5 mins, but totally unboggable, you need the batts and ESC to go with this type of motor.

I have the Castle Creations 50A ICE ESC and Turnigy Nano-Tech 2200maH batteries 35 - 50C along with this motor the Scorpion 2221-6 4400KV motor rated at 50A it's going to be a wild ride, not for the faint hearted thats for sure, but I find my flying style now requires more power. It's not for a beginner thats for sure.

  • Also, what head lock gyro are you using for this helicopter? Thanks, michael

  • I'm very new to this as you have probably gathered, and was looking around for which motor I would buy for this helicopter.. Do you have any recommendations? Also, how do I know what esc I should be buying for a particular motor and battery?

    thanks, michael
