My school done hairspray last yr 2010 and we had a great fun doing the show. I Even saw the UK Tour in Cardiff with Michale Ball it was Fantastic :).......

When I saw it, Michael Ball couldn't stop laughing :P love all the cast, Leanne rocked.... I'm pretty sure they won't get another Tracy as good as her!!!

i have seen this i absolutely loved it i wanna go see it again i agree with nicole from girls aloud it is better than the film it is just breathe-taking and the experience in the theatre is just amazing ! it sends shivers down the back of my spine and they are all just amazing it was fantastic and if you havent seen it your missing out on a lot !!!

I know one of the cast, and they call it 'you can't stop to breathe'...coz it really takes it out of you to sing for that length of time and dance too, if the dance was anymore elaborate the vocals wouldnt be as strong.
They got away with it in the film because the vocals were obviously pre-recorded.

Thats only because they have to perform it live. If the dancing was as complicated as in the movie, the actors on stage would be out of breathe and not be able to sing properly. In the movie they could do many takes, on the stage they have one shot. There was a little interview with the choreographer.
