i am truely sorry about your friend and cousin.
some people still want to live in denial (yes, me too cause denial is safe and comforting) and think that AIDS is "other people's disease." some (me too) want to think that they and their family, their friends are all immune from AIDS but just casue we don't know who is HIV+ it does nto mean that we don't know any HIV+ people.

I think even in this day and age people don't really grasp how this topic is so very close to home or how it can be close to home. Your story is one of many that mirror one another. Education and information is SO important. I am glad to see you talk about this and it's important that we all talk about this beyond the one day designated to this issue.
