Seth Lloyd's Quantum Computer

I'm reminded of The Chicken Heart. Scientists working to keep a chicken heart alive, and all of a sudden it starts growing and growing, and devouring and devouring, until it consumes the whole earth.

So a quantum computer isn't the same as creating cloned humans or biological warfare, but seems to me if you dont' understand what you're doing, consequences could be severe.

Understanding the universe leads to things like this, and that's exactly the reason I love science and technology, even when the exact way to utilize the things we find out through science eventually they can be used.

Loyd's unique laugh has the power to supercede all current laughs.
