They have a message to get out there. What do you think the best way is of getting it out there? Publishing CDs in their backyard and handing out flyers at the subway? Or signing up with a label that can give them masses of publicity. Think they give a shit about Sony? Nope. But it's the best damn way to get their message out there. Sure Sony gets rich, but Rage get to say their piece to the biggest audience possible.
