@kangal48 Well I hope that I am wrong. Its what we and the world are told. Why do so many muslims say that, that is what is says in the Koran? We need someone like you who can explain with proof otherwise I would also suspect that the Koran is also full of contradictions too.

@CountDeSade00 In Quran it clearly states 'If you kill one innocent people then as if you have killed the whole of humanity', I am a muslim myself and I have never found anything more true and peaceful then that, and there is no verse in Quran where says kill non-believers rather it says 'there is no compulsion in relegion', you can't judge Islam for few of it's so called believers. And you can't blame a person just because he fight against injustice, opression and falsehood as terrorist.

may Allah bless him.
I read Dr. Lang's book "Struggling to Surrender" many years ago and it had a big impact on me. It was both heart inspiring and intellectually stimulating. I still remember the story of his prayer outside the door of the university "mosque" and his dream. Even though he was atheist, he always seem to have that sincerity of seeking the truth. He had accepted the first part of the shahadah, "There is no god," and it was finally God Himself (via the Qur'an) that showed him "but God". Beautiful.
