I'd like to know how the 'sugar free' lollipop is sweetened. If it's got Aspartame, then you're also getting your daily dose of harmful toxins as well.

Hmm....this is very contrivercial to me.
I think it should be used, only as a last-resort for kids who WILL NOT (like i used to be..) take plain, or badly flavoured medicine.
And ONLY as a last resort.
It's a good invention, but...who knows.

What? You gave me an Exlax Gummi Bear?
How about a Gravol Rocket Pop before the drive to Halifax kids?
What's in the Smarties? Oh! That's mommy's contraceptive pills.
We had the sour worm ones made for grand-pa. Shhhh... It's Viagra.

Not just children, this approach sends the message to the parents that numbing the pain (or other quick fixes) are the best approach. I heard a few years back, that most headaches are caused by dehydration, since then when my head hurts I drink a glass of water, and I haven't needed a pain killer since. The drug companies want you to believe that they are better for you than actually staying healthy in the first place.
