LOL "science books." I love how so many antis try and use that generic term when justifying their arguments. Its funny.

Nobody really disputes that a fetus is a stage in life; but that doesnt solve the dilemma. The difficulty with religious doctrine is that they tend to see things in black and white drawing lines where there is actually an ambiguous continuem. Sperm & eggs are also a stage in "life". And together have the potential to make a child. Does that mean that every orgasm is genocide? - to follow the logic of catholic doctrine against contraception and abortion seems to suggest so.

Fetus =stage in life..just like baby, toddler, adult, etc...I was a fetus once, an example. You could say I evolved into a baby while in the womb. Terminating the pregnancy, this development in age you could say in basic terms of the fetus, is to terminate the development or growing 'life.' I've read science books and it does indicate fetus is a stage of life. No, they are not religious propaganda, as liberals want to usually want to deny. I am neither conservative nor liberal.

I see why Imelda was nominated for an Oscar. Well deserved.

she didnt try to cover it up -honest and in denial about what she did but still felt for her because of what had happened to her when she was young --still no justification eh

@Progo35 The "unborn" as you call it, or the fetus, as anyone with a scientific or medical background would call it, is not alive. It is dependent on a host, or a mother, to live. Just because the ultrasound has shown us what goes on inside a womb doesn't change the fact that a fetus becomes a baby only once it is born. Otherwise, instead of celebrating birth days, we'd celebrate conception days. Read a science textbook, and let others decide their fate for themselves.

Even if her role is pathetic she is a phenomenal actress!!! very genuine ....

So, I was watching Ricky Gervais' FAME stand up where he mentioned French & Saunders making fun of his weight/ego, so I searched for it --> I ended up watching their whole Christmas special & they made fun this movie (spot on!), so I searched for this part --> So, now I'm seeing the guy who plays an overly gay script editor on EXTRAS.... I love full circles :o) It's weird seeing him NOT be gay. lol!
Just thought I'd share....
Poor Vera.

I don't think she knew the implications at all! She was such a wonderful caring woman. What she did was selfless. I'm sure the police understood this. Perhaps not in real life but in the film it seemed like the female police women had a lovely way about her when she asked if Vera needed a help.
