climbing isn't about the grade it's about having fun

I think at the lower end of the V scale there is a massive difference between a v4 and v6 where as with say a v11 and a v13 there isnt as much of a difference in difficulty. People who rate the problems must send the problem and everyone is different. Dont get hung up on the rating, Iv done v3's that are harder then v6's. Its just a general estimate to give people and idea of what level its around, just have fun and push your abilities.

I do a lot of indoor climbing. Honestly, I can only do v2 - v3. But whenever I get the chance, I make up maybe v5-v7s. The world of climbing is amazing for anything you want to do! :D

@Finkployd2112 There is a lot more difference in v4-v5 then v12-v13, because everyone wanted to push grades forward to set the bar higher. It just appears that the difference is greater because there are more v4's then v13's.

just keep climbing and you can achieve these grades, climb hard and if you cant get to the wall make sure you got a fingerboard or you can go running or something or work your core!

@lagos6 Fugazi. I believe it's on the Instrument soundtrack/album.

Climbing is usually the best training for climbing..
-
@davervr6 there is a an exponential increase in difficulty change as you go higher in the v-scale. the difference between v12 and v13 is astronomical compared to the difference between v4 and v5. that being said, grades are entirely relative.
