Regina: Would you have agreed if I had told you?
"...No."
Regina: Which is why I didn't. Now let's go.
She grabbed my arm and dragged me from the car. I guess I was going then. I wonder how awkward this will be...
Dean: You got her out of the car!
He sounded so surprised that I felt a little guilty as he laughed and hugged me. I guess I had been acting rather difficult lately
Regina: Was NOT easy!
Bobby: I had full confidence in you.
"No you didn't." I laughed, trying to be carefree, which was hard because I could still see Nick. I adjusted my feet a little so Dean's head was blocking Nick's. Much better.
Regina: Come on! You've got to greet everyone.
"Regina" I tried protesting, but she had grabbed my hand already and was dragging me toward the three boys. "Hi." I mumbled, looking at my feet.
Regina: *elbows me in the ribs* Aly!
I glared at her before looking up. I deliberately looked only at Joe and Kevin, even though I was sort of mad at them too. Just not as mad.
Joe: *smiles* Hey Aly. This is Becca.
"Hi." I said, staring determinedly at Becca to avoid looking at Nick. 'She's rather pretty.' I thought to myself. Becca had medium length brown hair that was blowing all over her face, sometimes catching on the rims of her glasses in front of her hazel/brown eyes. "Um I'm Aly."
Becca: I know.
Regina: *coughs*
Kevin: Aly, this is my girl, Kat.
Kat smiled at me and held out her hand. "Nice to meet you, Kat."
Kat: *shakes my hand* You too Aly! Nick talked about you often enough to make me want to meet you!
She laughed and my eyes shifted to Nick involuntarily.
Nick: Great. Thanks Kat.
He was completely embarrassed, but Kat didn't seem to notice. She just flicked some of her short and wild red hair over her shoulder, green eyes sparkling with suppressed laughter. I looked at Kat's clothes, for something to do. She was wearing hot pink skinny jeans and a neon green tank. I was so shocked by this combination that I didn't say anything, although I have to admit that Kat looked pretty good in the outfit. I'd never have been able to pull something like that off.
Regina: *sighs* Movie then?
Dean: Let's go.
He took my arm and dragged me inside. "I can walk!" I complained. I was being dragged around way too much today.
Dean: Not fast enough. *laughs*
Regina got the tickets and then told me to get popcorn. I went into the theatre with Bobby and Dean after we finally got all the food and drinks to find only three free seat left by our group. Bobby quickly slid into the seat next to Regina and Dean took the last end seat. The one seat left was next to Kat. And Nick. I glared at Regina, furious. It was OBVIOUSLY Regina that planned the seating arrangement.
Regina: Hurry up and sit down! The movie's starting.
I kicked her on my way to the seat and threw myself angrily into the squeaky little chair.
Kat: Popcorn?
She handed a bucket over and I took it. Dean, Bobby and I had gotten four buckets, so this one was mine. And Nick's.
Nick: *hesitates*
"Oh just take some already!" I snapped, causing everyone around me to glare and shush me. I stuck my tongue out at them and crossed my arms.
The movie was great. Halfway through, I forgot who I was sitting next to and started really enjoying it. There was only about two minutes left and I went for some popcorn. So did Nick. Oh come ON! That only happens in like movies and crap! In real life, people don't accidentally reach for popcorn at the same freaking time! And the guy certainly does NOT 'accidentally' grab the girl's hand instead.
Apparently I was wrong. I snatched my hand back and the popcorn fell as he jumped. I leaped to my feet and stormed from the theatre.
Regina: ALY!
She jumped up and chased me, ignoring the complaining crowd.
Kat: What did you DO Nick?
She ran after me too. How weird. I'd only just met her. Becca stayed where she was, only to grudgingly get up when Kevin and Joe started after me too.
