The New 1970's Disco Funkin-Retro Rockin' find Ponch and John battling a group of Lesbian Eco-Terrorists bent on destroying those who damage their planet, yes it's a musical comedy. Loosely based on the CHiPs TV show. Written by The Ovation Award Winning Musical team of Rick Batalla
and Henry Phillips. This production produced by Ovation Award winning Troubadour Theater Company at Garry
Marshall's Falcon Theatre in Burbank, California.

  • I stumbled across this via a CD at Dress Circle in London. Of course, I did what any sane person did and bought the disc immediately. All I can say is wow!

(I wish you had embedding enabled, though. I'd like to share this on my blog without the extra click.)

Will it ever be staged again anywhere?

  • ABSOLUTELY Hysterical! You guys were phenomenal and the show was just awesome. I laughed until I cried. CHiPs was my favorite show as a young teen so I was very excited to see it. I didn't know what to expect but I laughed my fool head off the entire show. Wasn't quite sure how to take Jon singing "7Mary3".... Seventh wife?? Orphanage?? But that's what parody is all about. You guys were just incredible and if you did the show again, I'd be there! :)
