This song so touched my life because my mother is living with Alzheimer's. I am her caregiver. Alzheimer's does take away their dignity one held at one time. I will not lie that this is a very difficult illness to care for, but as this song speaks of, what would I be when she needs me the most. My mother spent many years wiping away my tears, changing my diapers, feeding me, taking care of my needs. It is pay back time. It is heartbreaking to see her slowly becoming a different Mother than the one I grew up with. Different or not she is still the woman God has given to me and what a blessing she has been to this world. She is my hero, I share my love for her with you.
