Charlie Balch

Charlie hails from Colorado, but moved to Southern California to study Cinema and Media Arts at Biola University. Charlie got his start as a DJ back in high school, spinning at the local ice rink on Friday nights. It was through this experience that he learned the art of song selection and how to keep a party going. Upon settling in SoCal, Charlie wanted to maintain his love of DJing and found a home at FLY BY NIGHT to achieve that goal.

Standing at 6' 6", Charlie has a love of people and is extremely personable. Upon working with Charlie clients find that he is always willing to go out of his way to ensure that their needs are met and that his DJ skills exceed expectations. One-on-one, Charlie possesses a polite, "can do" demeanor but his most dynamic talents appear as soon as he is behind the console motivating your guests. He LOVES lots of bodies on the dancefloor!

Musically, Charlie's favorite styles are electro, house, dubstep, hip-hop remixes, and alternative rock. Which he can present in a "club style" when applicable. However, Charlie is a music lover and wields a diverse knowledge of music that is always expanding. Charlie is confident he will be able fit the music to the needs of any event.
