A little girl living on an isolated ranch claims to have formed a bond of friendship with a pure white, "wild" stallion. The horse is well known in the area, almost legendary, and supposedly vicious. Is she just making it up, or is she telling the truth? If it's real, isn't it dangerous for her with a "killer" horse? Or is the horse as vicious as he's been portrayed? I don't know what possessed me to google this tonight but I am glad I did. Thanks for giving a heads up about July 30. I have not seen this movie in over 40 years. I am looking forward to seeing it again. Thanks for sharing!

Phillip Creeper, THANK YOU!!! It's too early to set the DVR but I can set some reminders in iCal to make sure I record this movie. Seriously, for years I thought I dreamed this memory... Can't wait to see it! It seems to have affected innumerable budding equestrians in the early 60s, even Jessica Jahiel! Hope everyone gets a chance to see it and that it's half as good as the golden 50-year-old memory.

If you missed it in May it will be repeated on TCM on July 30 at 9:30 A.M. EST! Please double check your local tv guide for the time in your area. If the time isn't convenient set those recorders. This is a great family movie. Don't miss it.

I loved this film so much as a little girl that I named my first horse Snowfire. My Snowfire would talk to me too. I would love to have a copy of the movie.

I love horses and when I was a kid I saw this movie at the show. I wanted Snowfire so bad. He was a magnificent horse! I just loved him. Nice to see him again!
