Heretic 1.3 Walkthrough - E2M1 - HiQuality

This is my walkthrough of the masterpiece Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders (1995 - Ravensoft).
It is NOT a time attack, nor a skill show-off. It's just me having some fun and solving all the levels with 100% monsters, items, secrets.

The game runs on ms-dos emulated by DosBox, which also made me capture the video. There are no graphics or music enhancements: this is a perfect replica of the original game how we used to play it on our good old pc's.

Episode 2, Map 1: The Crater
Hardest Difficulty.

Please note that in hardest difficulty there are a lots of items and powerups missing, to make game harder. So the walkthrough doesn't really show how to collect ALL items, but only those in hardest mode.

Did that Weredragon growl ambience confuse you at the end? It looked like you were looking around for an enemy for a bit :) That sound gets me all the time - that, and the Iron Lich laugh. You're never quite sure if it's real or not.

It seems unusual to have only two varieties of monsters in this level: Gargoyles and Weredragons.

Oh, them. I nearly forgot them. Wasn't the last level, in where you had to fight against 8 Maulotaur's, or were there even more? Sorry for my bad English, I'm from Finland.

Heretic was released in December 23, 1994, not in 1995.
