I am amazed every time I see a C-5 fly that they fly at al! They look like they are flying so slow they should fall out of the sky!.

Man that sound really reminds me of living near Norton AFB when I was younger, hearing the C-5's come and out in from time to time. MEMORIES!!!!!!!

I live close to the German border and all the C-5 Galaxys and C-17's fly over my house!

I remember when the C-5s were painted white over grey. My father and I used to drive out to Travis AFB quite often to see them do touch and goes. We'd sit in our car out near Hwy 12 all morning; not just to watch them, but also to listen to those unique sounding engines.

looks like you could be at my house... westover is about 30 min away and we see C-5s all the time...not sure if those based there are gunna get upgraded to the C-5M
