Can't do cover songs legally on youtube. You can still use the same techniques that I used in this video with Vegas 9 and any decent multitrack audio editor :)

So far I am only using Movie Maker that comes with Windows7 which at this point I am not really liking yet because I cant seem to edit quite right. I need to find something free that I can get while getting better software.

You can use this technique with Movie Maker, too! You can export your audio and put it into Audacity or Cool Edit and master it, then bring it back into movie maker as a new audio track :)
