I always ask "What was that?" before jumping to conclusions. Sure our brain picks out the simplest explanations with patterns but there are still things that cannot be explained by normal science. On Ghost Hunters it was debunked that a member of the hotel staff went and messed up the bed on purpose. Now as for the rest of television it's definitely edited to draw in viewers. I could waste my time posting up links to here and there. I wont. It's up to you to decide.
