@rithem412 A better way to say what you want to describe: My party is as corrupt as their party. The same flaws I see in their party I see in mind. But, it is always a war of linguistic contortions trying to blame the other. Both parties are equally corrupt. The fact is for the greatest transfer of wealth from the 'working class' to the richest of the rich could not have happened as rapidly as it did without Obama's hand selected team.

I'm sure I agree with him when he says that democrats were more responsible than republicans for getting rid of Glass-Steagal. The representatives who introduced the bill in the senate and in the house were Gramm and Leach, both republicans. Furthermore the vote in the senate was along party lines with Republicans voting for the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Bill and democrats voting against it.

From wikipedia on the Gramm-Leach-Bliley bill:
"The final bipartisan bill resolving the differences was passed in the Senate 90-8-1 and in the House: 362-57-15."
I'm not trying to defend the GOP. I don't think Phillips was either.
