  • As these bikes are set up now, the ttr seems to have smoother more broad power, but the DRZ has more bottom end punch. I think either bike would be great. The ttr has 4 speeds and the DRZ only 3, but the 1st on the TTR is so low that it's virtually unusable for most things. The DRZ is lighter because of the lack of electric start, so if your just going for function without all the bells and whistles, I would go with the DRZ. The electric start makes it possible for my 7 year old to start.
