The main emphasis of this video is not to discuss if and how much blame for the hype surrounding Ida lies with the scientists or the media (as Aronra mentioned in the video I referred to) but the fact that Shawn (VenomFangX, or PCS) made a statement that, with a little bit of research he would have known to be false.

So a fossil was found, no articles were put through peer review on what it was or had actual review, and the media took that, did no research but reported research was done. Atheists seen those media broadcasts and some didn't double check. Sorry, not my fault vennomvanfx, and yes it happens and has happened thousands of times. The millions of real fossils still exist though; sorry.
