Shift Kicker Motorcycle Riding Shoe

Here's my initial impressions of the 2010 Shift Kicker Riding Shoe from Shift Racing. I think its a fair compromise between safety and convenience. Much better than a regular shoe, but of course not as protective as a full blown racing boot.

so, i wear timbs/work boots when i ride because it gives me a little extra added height.

do you wear workboots ever? can you tell me if these shoes aren't super flat and actually give a little height as well? or any comparison at all to workboots.
