Technically, robots are asexual unless they are programmed otherwise. You would know that if you knew the definition of asexual. Learn, then talk.

@TAOtheGod What? I'm sorry, I'm a little slow today, but how is this related to my comment?
-
@TAOtheGod Oh my Goddess, it's called a joke!
-
@TAOtheGod My apologies I'm just playing devil's advocate. I love robots in a platonic way and as long they observe Asimov's three rules. Domo arigato Mr. Roboto. I'm sure that R2D2 is an outstanding functional fictional assexual droid. Let's be friends and bury this ratchet.

@TheLummer66 R2-D2 not heterosexual, he is not homosexual, he not asexual. he is a robot.
-
@TheLummer66 you weren't reading closely. I said he was a machine NOT an entity. go back and look at it again. Sex was never an issue in Star Wars, some of you people are reading far too much into this and you are doing it wrong. Let's get this straight. R2-D2 is an astromech which means he helps pilot ships and calculate coordinates. He is NOT in any way programmed for sex. C-3PO is a protocol droid. His function is to assist with politicians in negotiations. He also was NOT programmed for sex.

I've been making homosexual couples in the Sims since 2004. It's nice that Bioware is catching up to EA.
-
@TAOtheGod You said that R2D2 was an entity. To which I say he is a gay robot not a heterosexual tree and I can not see a flaw in my logic. Prove me wrong.
-
@TAOtheGod Thanks; I genuinely didn't know. I know there is now a vast star wars expanded universe with all kinds of official details, but that's about as much as I know about it.
who says Star Wars has no homosexuals? has nobody looked at C3PO? now there's clearly a gay robot if I've seen one :-P
