LOOKING BACK AGAIN...with 'E MA RO'....the most popular folksong on every youth's mouth in Ijebuland..adapted to"I REMEMEMBER CHIEF OBAFEMI AWOLOWO..........(My sidekick....BALE OF ODOSHENGOLU....JULIUS OSHINKOYA helped to source this song) UPDATE....August 17 2010
Around the time I made this video, there was an anniversary of the ANGLICAN CHURCH at IKENNE...the birthplace of CHIEF OBAFEMI AWOLOWO.
The officiating BISHOP was indeed telling all the people present about the good, wonderful deeds of this man while he was in NIGERIAN POLITICS. He went ahead and enjoined all his beneficiaries to publish books, and tell about his work to everybody in this world. AND RIGHTLY,that is what we should all do!!!.
BUT UP TILL NOW,beneficiaries of this man have not been doing that. MAY be the time has not come yet for that.
In this video I tried to paint some little pictures of what the old Western Nigeria looked like in the time of CHIEF OBAFEMI AWOLOWO. and I will keep updating until I could make myself clearer. The music arrangement here is authentically African. I put all these instruments together. I adapted and translated our popular folksong by myself too. AND LET NOBODY BE DISSAPPOINTED BY THE TRADITIONAL TONE OF THE BEAT. I HAVE A TRADITIONAL IJEBULAND MUSIC CHANNEL HERE. AND THIS IS WHAT THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD LOVE SO MUCH BECAUSE IT IS UNIQUE AND AGE-OLD. THANKS!!!. ...... May 13, 2010, 10:46 PM
CHIEF OBAFEMI AWOLOWO WAS GREAT, BUT THIS CLIP IS A REAL NONSENSE, A PRODUCT OF JOBLESSNESS.

@voltabobo Now you are right my friend!. Idleness or what you call joblessness may sometimes bring the best out of a person. In this case I used my idleness/joblessness to remember a fantastic hero. The type of leader we need right now in NIGERIA. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. SO, VOLTABOBO,KEEP ON WORKING VERY HARD,WE JOBLESS PEOPLE DEPEND ON YOU!!!.

@voltabobo I think you are too young to know our best stateman in NIGERIA. He instituted THE UNIVERSAL FREE PRIMARY EDUCATION in the Western Region of Nigeria in 1960. Please, read more about this and let me know whether your mind will open.....okie dokie!!!.
