  • I like the music... Does anybody know where can i get it???

  • @henryforshaw Not every pastor is going to live a perfect life with regards to handling of finances, giving to the poor and vulnerable, and giving to important causes. But neither is every pastor going to be faithful to his children and to the people he is pastoring, as shown in this video.

I think this video is just trying to show a caricature of a "good" pastor over an entire day, trying to be faithful, and it makes sense that we could pick out both the good AND the bad from it.

  • @henryforshaw I too noticed some of the signs of North American consumerism in this video clip (e.g. disposable bottled water, gas guzzling late model SUV). You could argue that it's not exactly the "wartime lifestyle" that, ironically, John Piper himself talks about. But let's not forget that this is an advertisement - they're not specifically trying to depict what a pastor's day SHOULD look like in all respects. Secondly, I think it's being honest about the typical pastor in North America.

  • As for me his lifestyle was pretty good, maybe some more time to spend with his wife, but - maybe they didn't show us this moment of his life ;) I wish my hubby to have such a lifestyle when he'll become a pastor :)

  • How so?

  • No I do not claim to be living like Christ. But this guy drives a 4x4 and does not appeal to the most needy. He is well fed and well clothed.

  • ummmm... Being a pastor isn't a Biblical lifestyle???

    pray tell what is?

  • Well Its good to hear, henryforshaw, yours is far more Christ-like.
