I just stumbled onto one of Dettmer's sculptures today...accidentally! He is a one of a kind artist. Never saw anything like this.

What a fabulous video!! The first time I saw his art was in Somerset Studio magazine July/August 2008 and I was blown away by what he creates. I like that he allows the books to "talk" to him and let each piece evolve as they will. What an incredible idea. Thanks for sharing the video.
