It's not a bad thing at all! Firstly, the jobs taken by robotics and automation are usually jobs where precision is required or extreme conditions etc. Secondly, who do you think will install the robotics, and perform maintenance on them? Obviously it takes jobs from certain people in certain industries, what better reason to get a better job! Just because robots can weld, does not mean they are always perfect!

All of this is great stuff.. But we have to keep a level head during the transition out of money.. Otherwise we wont have any infrastructure left.. The transition is going to be a bitch! I'll be amazed if we make it out alive into something like the VP..

Great video! There needs to be more like this.
With growing rates of automation, there wont be enough jobs for the population to make a living. A job gets you income which ensures your financial survival. Creating abundance for all the worlds people, eliminates the incentive for theft, fraud, and corruption. Why hoard or steal that which is abundant and available to you.
