It's the one-man, four point conversation thing.
Turning around to look at your previous position, and reply to what you just said, it's a type of comiedic style shared by the likes of richard pryor and eddie Izzard, among others.
It's only because of the accent, and the topic of religion(and the voice of god sounding a bit like James Mason..) that eddie Izzard comes to mind when I watch these. The videos are marvalous, and Ia refreshing step back from the usual intensity of "atheist videos".

although eddie was largely influenced by the monty python troupe...either way, absolute brilliance.
