@MoonUnitLatina AAL is boring as shit. Tech wank garbage.
-
@SadisticNeurosurgan WTF are you talking about? Animals as Leaders is superior in pretty much every way. As far as instrumental bands go Pelican isn't half of what AAL is.
-
Now why in the fuck is Animals as leaders in the related videos? What a joke.
Pelican>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Animals as leader. 'nuff said.

agreed,i love this band

Why is there a dispute over bands here, different bands offer different sounds. AAL and Pelican are obviously wayy different bands, it just depends what you wanna hear. Pelican offers a beautiful and sometimes powerful vibe strong enough to take you on a transcendent journey. AAL offers a technical vibe, one that shows the lead guitarist knows his shit. So you have to choose over creativity (Pelican) or technical instrument skill (AAL). Comparing bands is pointless anyway, if it's good its good.

I like Pelican and Animals as Leaders.
Animals as Leaders makes me feel like I'm lost in a city pulsating with electricity and forever expanding with a mysterious complexity.
Pelican makes me feel like I'm at the docks on a chilly day with clouds blanketing the sky and a lighthouse overhead obscured by frost.
Both bands bring something to the table. Pelican and Animals as Leaders are both great examples of modern Experimental Bands.
