@phffeir Who's "they"? Certainly not NewScientist, the makers of this video. They're pointing out the trend that is already out there.
Plus, your analogy doesn't really work if the reward structure is tied to what we do in our freetime.. what we'd be doing anyway. "You'll pay me to play WoW? Sure!"
