Oprah Winfrey, The New York Times, and ABC Nightline have all reported that 70% of black women are single. But this group of friends never thought they would be part of the statistic. As they prepare one friend for I Do and another for divorce; secrets, lies, and betrayal threaten to derail the wedding. As they each struggle to hold on to their relationships the women cant help but wonder if its even possible to find lasting love, especially for a black woman? The 70% Club offers a fresh and contemporary look at the issues faced in relationships, dating, and marriage.

I am going to do a film on how ppl talk about black films but never lift a finger to support them and then complain about the quality and airtimes. All the good black films out there, did u buy it online or retail or did u get it from a bootlegger at barber shop or wait for it to air on BET or go on sale?

Its interesting how ppl just say the movie is stupid? Have you watched it? The movies subject is about the 70% and Black women; so why are u quoting stats about other races. Stick to the subject matter. I am a filmmaker, and its offensive whn the same ppl who don't support my films and the most opinionated about them??? Really! The ppl who have yet to buy or watch it are the first to claim is stupid or stereotypical. If that's the case, write and script of your choice, present it to me. Work it!

@ Poppinbabi . have you seen the movie yet. judging off the past is not an accurate portrayal of today. @Ankh . . it's not propoganda. Watch the film. It's an intelligent film with working class ppl who are dealing with issues like everyone else. Other ethnicities are also discussed> Actually I have not seen anyone put out a movie that really discusses marriage and relationships quite like this.

Black people are ridiculous, why are you people buying into propaganda created by the media? Their is a Agenda at hand. Did the media also tell you that 65 percent of black men are single? Did the media tell you that black marriage is actually on the rise?

I find it very interesting that the media left these facts out of the equation. Black people need to stop entertaining these ridiculous "statistics". They are bias and full of lies to serve a purpose.
