This is probably one of the better times I've heard him sing this one live, it's a tough one. I'm not sure the show I saw in person was as good as this one. Ah well, great show nonetheless.

because you're likely used to his voice being edited to a certain extent. Beyond that, it seems that even with the video-quality, his mic is a deal louder than those of the drum/guitar, which is cool (bass and noise override it for a live crowd, but not so much for a bootleg-audience), not to mention that he's using more force to sing with. Observations ; )
