The production is a work in progress, it will form part of a major documentary about micro-finance in the developing and developed world. The West is presently experiencing economic meltdown and "greed is the seed and the sickness of most men's souls'! Africa is the place where the entire population was subjected to western world colonialism and abuse. The islands of Cape Verde were the staging areas for the slaves trade. Slaving ships from Portugal, Europe and the Americas would take on slaves and supplies in Cape Verde, Africa. The faces of the people of Cape Verde show the mixing of the races of the Island nation.

This segment talks of the technological implications of the developed world gone mad with technology, consumerism and the greed, while the developing nation barely survive. we see these issues come to life on the ground in this segment. I discuss the philosophical implications of the present world that has descended to a state of alienation and basic survival that threatens in the coming years to wipe out all the gains of civilization and human progress as a result of climate change.
