@1019drummer , man, you have put it to the point, it is the mood,,for example listen to "Contemporary Music of Mexico & Brazil," "Latino",etc,etc,etc,.My wife and I roamed Manhatten most of the summer of 63' mostly by night.we had an Apt. onW.78 just across from the Nat.Hist.Museam.and it was the impetus of this mystical music in the center of the groove of that summer.We are still together,this beautiful Latino girl and I.
I Grew Up On Cal Tjader Via My Dad,The Coolest Memory Of Cal Was In 1977,When He Played A Free Concert @ A Mall In San Francisco Called ''Stonestown'' And To Top That Off His Gave Out His ''Here'' Album (Fantasy, 1977) To The Audience. There Needs To Be A Serious DVD Made About Cal Tjader.Give The Man His Due!Sheesh....
