  • @DLPBurke Ronnie O'Sullivan Ranking event finals: 34

Stephen Hendry Ranking event finals: 57

I know you're not too bright, but just because Murray has a better h2h against federer doesn't make Murray the better player.

  • Hendry so good. let's see. 9-4 losing to ronnie finals, lost UK final to 17 year old Ronnie, won one major after age 27 (1996), 38-23 H2H to O'Sullivan (Ronnie also winning 1992-2002). Hendry is the luckiest player ever, he came about when only Jimmy White was an opposition. No one else. Jimmy also made 5 world finals in a row from 1990-94.

  • Hendry was so good he used to bore the daylights out of all those but true snooker die hards, cause he never ever missed and hardly ever gave you the chance to miss a ball. cause you didnt get a shot period. younger fans just assume he was playing a lower standard and beating no-bodies..nowhere near it trump or o'sullivan in their pomp, would struggle to stay with hendry at his best no question or opinion, simple fact.

  • @DLPBurke SO LIKE YOU WERE TOLD BEFORE TIME AND AGAIN. BE QUIET IDIOT BOY BECAUSE YOU HAVENT GOT A CLUE WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. EVERY COMMENT MAKES YOU LOOK MORE PATHETIC AND POINTLESSLY ARGUMENTATIVE THAN THE LAST ONE. TRYING ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING TO TRY AND MAKE AN INVALID POINT CORRECT, WELL IT NEVER HAS BEEN AND NEVER WILL BE. SO GROW UP AND FACE THE TRUTH THAT YOU KNOW FUCK ALL.

  • @DLPBurke hmmm funny if i remember rightly...wasnt it at ronnie and williams expense that hendry took his 7th world title...17-13 in the semis he done o'sullivan and pretty much walked the final 18-11 against williams.

it was about this time that after 35 years of solid snooker that he waned from that untouchable player.because it became second priority to his family. life after snooker had begun and this was when he gave up his crown. but make no mistake he gave it up..no-one took it from him.

  • @mrbarleymob and yes many people would say joe davis is the greatest ever through his career acheivment. you can only beat whats in front of you, and again saying the standard was lower is pathetic. first off you aint watched any of joe davis playing ever i can bet my left knacker on that.he didnt have todays knowledge etc and that advantage over others he was of the same era and dominated everything so yeah he maybe the best. but modern day player...hendry no question and only fools disagree

  • @mrbarleymob if a player gets a slightly fast bounce or something today or the cushions are lively...they cant handle it. ive even seen them change the cloth during an interval...the standard might seem better today but the tables and cues are a million times better.the game is easier. players have also learned things from hendry, like how to split reds from the blue and how balls react, his style is what the boys today are emulating. you just talk shit after shit when you know fuckall.

  • @DLPBurke and aslo back to centuries and 147's..if hendry had spent his entire pro career playing on the new fine cloth where one bump into the pack splits them all open, rather than the old napped cloth which would take several bumps and cannons to develop the reds, he would have made even more than the all time record which he has of centuries by far. and more maximums.

the tables today play the same everytime. back then they were never the same twice.

but whatever you are full shite anyway

  • @DLPBurke i think you will find that hendry won some of his world titles while higgins williams o'sullivan doherty were all proffesionals. I get the feeling you didnt watch a lot of hendry when he was at his best..becuae he didnt play to a lower standard than today and win because there was no-one else about. your an uneducated fool. spouting opinioons on favourites. hendrys standard from immaculate safety to attacking the balls and clearing the table was unplayable.
