  • Really interesting -- how'd you do it? Did you use a similar approach to Qtittb (another Youtube user) who used Reactor for the wheels, a simple spline rigged to bones and a Pathdeform object?

  • no, actually everything is physics based and controlled by reactor. Each link on the tread is connected with a seperate hinge constraint, and the tread is only connected to the wheels trough physics based interaction. what you're seeing is a completely physics based animation, everything about it! thanks for the comment!

  • davstarpro: Please make a tutorial on how to make this!

  • Funny :)

  • @davstarpro why do my hinges fly away??

  • Do you still have this as a Max file and is there any chance you can send it to me so I can see how you did it? I've been trying to re-create it with very little success. My tracks rip apart, then the wheels fall off and the tank goes flipping off into the distance... :-(

  • woooooooooow nice

  • lol, it would of been cool if you just put a big explosion at the end when the tank falls off. then this little guy comes out with a white surrender flag lol. Good design :)

  • @WTFClock is this a game if it is wat is it called

  • @WTFClock actually you should take a image of what you wanna make and start makeing the shapes with primitives and then make more details with the extrude tool...

  • fun :)
