Dude, for me, it all started when I heard Fatt Matt back in '05...when I heard his album "Life Is..." I could never relate to any sort of hip-hop the way I related to that. I started writing, got confident, then discouraged, and gave up (not entirely, but non-believers got to me and I stopped writing and threw away everything I had). I never stopped thinking and imagining though. Once I heard Snak on 'Beer Day', I picked the pen back up and just writing lyrics lately has helped me so much.
