You may have recently heard about the secret Galaxy S Android desktop syncing software. It sounds like it could be pretty good sync solution. It certainly seems to be more feature-rich than the other sync options, and I especially like the text message archiving/printing features. We took it for a test drive with the Samsung Vibrant, and here's how it went.

Can anybody help me please when I connect my phone with kies it says that I can't upgrade my phone through kies but I can do all the other features if anybody can help me that would be great

I'm updating my firmware, it's stuck for about an hour, pretty sure tomorrow I'll have my phone on the store to fix it.

kies is shit, if there is a kies udpate it can take a very long time to update.

I'm pretty sure monkeys developed this software. Just trying to put music on my phone makes me really miss my iphone... You click the "sync" button, and you're done. take the hint, y'all.

@lelboy I agree, never seen such a shit in my entire life. Funny thing is that KIES 2.0 after connecting my phone to pc says "Device not supported" Hello! According to Samsung Website it's designed to suit SGS2 ...

Never have I used such awkward, unreliable , painful-to-use software. In short - it's bloody awful and Samsung should be ashamed of supplying it.
Samsung support were very polite - but useless!
