Yup, the last note is way off.

I am NOT the one singing in the online version this radio story (you can listen for yourself; as far as I can tell, the recording played is original cast member Jessica Molaskey singing). I am also NOT the girl mentioned in this article.

  • sorry i have to disagree.. i think its a good recording but... horrible ending (way off pitch).. but she only sounds good vocaly during the chorus when the piano was playing louder..

  • @Alexis01666 it's a terrible recording, quality wise. to critique myself, this was as a high schooler w/ far less vocal development, so i can see your critique (i sound/am young here). as far as the off pitch ending goes: i have found that depending on the sound system used, at times it sounds fine, and at times it sounds, as you put it, way off pitch. when i got a new laptop i was horrified to hear the ending, whereas it had been fine on my old speakers; who knows! thanks for your thoughts.

  • good choice,... but the last note.. wowww wayyyyy offff key.. kind of boring to listen to.. needs more intensity during chorus

  • Jason Robert Brown is one of Broadway's best new songwriting talents.

  • @Julesy41 I find it somewhat sad

  • This is brill I didnt even realize someone was singing it I thought it was the original so I really think this is great

  • Great performance! I love this song so much. I had a friend who sang this song for my Performance Skills class. It has so much passion and emotion in it, and I feel that you captured that really well. Like others have said here the acoustics weren't the greatest, the piano was a bit loud, and the last note was a bit flat, but overall your voice sounds great and I think I'm going to check out your other stuff!

  • This is really good, but slightly flat at the end :)

  • I adore this song!! ;))

  • AMAZING!!!!!!
