Wrong. I was molested repeatedly as a kid. I am not suffering repeatedly for the rest of my life till the day I die. I have forgiven and forgotten and moved on.

DOJ 2009 studies have SO upto almost 40% of a re-offense rate! Sadly 65-70% of victims are CHILDREN! The rights freedoms & protections MUST be with the citizen, NOT the FELON. The public's right to safety trumps any infringements on an offender's freedoms. These restrictions are set forth due to the fact these guys have proven they feed off those who cant protect themselves! There is NO WAY to know in advance WHICH SO will reoffend & which will not & that is WHY all are on the registry!

Yes, it's true. I AM a fear monger. I am & I admit it. I am afraid of people that hold children or women down, put their hand over their mouth, beat them & rape them. Have you ever been raped? Do you have ANY idea of what it's like to get raped? The emotional pain & the physical torture you feel? And if being afriad of the people who DO that stuff makes me a "Fear Monger" then YES! I AM A FEAR MONGER! And if you are NOT afraid of sexual predators, then something is wrong with you.

Of the 272,111 men released from prisons in 15 States in 1994 an est. 67.5% were rearrested within 3 yrs, 46.9%were reconvicted & 25.4% resentenced to prison for a new crime! Within 3 yrs of release, 2.5% of rapists were rearrested for another rape. Sex offenders were 4 X's MORE likely 2 b arrested for another sex crime. 5.3% were rearrested for a new sex crime within 3 yrs of release. Of released sex offenders who allegedly committed another sex crime, 40% was a new offense within 1 yr.

When a person commits murder, their victim's suffering ends.

When a sexual offender commits rape/molestation, their victim's suffereing NEVER ends until the day they die.

They shouldn't be allowed to be released back into the general population b/c they have a life long addiction that most of them can't beat. They relapse & end up doing it again & again & again to satisfy their urges. Personally, I think raping & molesting kids should give them a life sentenance in jail like murderers get b/c it's almost as bad! When a person murders someone, the victim's suffereing ends. But the suffereing & torment NEVER ends for those who have been raped or molested. NEVER.
